The basic terms of Belote A La Vache are:

1. Dealer is a player who deals cards at the beginning of the round.
2. Team - 2 players who sit through one player in the course of handing cards.
3. Combination - a special set of cards in the player's hand, which gives the player additional points when announcing.
4. "Bela" ("Belote") is the king and queen of one suit trump card in the hand of one player.

Between equally long combinations declared by opposing teams, the one that

contains higher-ranking cards wins. If there are two or more opposite

combinations of equal rank, the combination of the player who is the first in a

circle to the left of the dealer is counted.
